Reminder: QuickBooks Desktop Deadline Is Next Month

Do you support QuickBooks Desktop clients? Do you know about the December 10, 2021 extension deadline?

Intuit has extended purchases of QuickBooks Desktop 2021, which will be supported through May 2024, until December 10, 2021. Purchases may be made via QuickBooks Solutions Providers (QSPs) and Intuit sales agents. Products available until December 10 include:

QuickBooks Desktop Pro, Premier and Mac 2021 one-time licenses
QuickBooks Desktop Accountant Edition 2021 one-time licenses

New Features in QuickBooks Desktop 2022

Pricing for QuickBooks Desktop 2022

QuickBooks Desktop 2022 products are only available through annual subscription in place of a one-time license purchase. The cost of the annual subscription is through an annual charge; there is no monthly payment option. However, if a client cancels prior to the end of the subscription, they will receive a pro-rated refund. QuickBooks Desktop does not require a separate charge per file, and clients with more than one company file will pay only the annual subscription fee.

There is no 30% discount on QuickBooks Desktop products for your clients. The 30% discount is included in the ProAdvisor Preferred Pricing program that is for Online products only. In addition, Intuit's Revenue Share program does not apply to QuickBooks Desktop products; the revenue share program is an expansion of the QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor Preferred Pricing program.
