Michelle Mitchell

A self-professed lifelong learner, Michelle Mitchell is always on a mission to further develop her leadership skills. A graduate of Western Michigan University, Michelle obtained her BBA in Accounting and two master’s degrees, one in Organizational Management and another in Career and Technical Education. With this knowledge and skillset, she founded Mitchell Consulting twelve years ago. Beginning as a service for small businesses offering bookkeeping, the team at Mitchell Consulting has grown. Each member holds an undergraduate accounting degree in addition to a graduate degree. Michelle’s staff is also certified in QuickBooks Online, of which she has been a trainer for twelve years. Services now offered include bookkeeping, accounting, advisory services, and coaching. Specializing in serving women entrepreneurs who are experts in their fields, the team at Mitchell Consulting is there to help clients get a handle on their finances so they can confidently make business decisions. The goal is to help women business owners bridge the gap between their passion and profit. As an alumnus of the Goldman Sachs 10K Small Business program, Michelle Mitchell is the perfect leader for the charge. Family is important to Michelle, and building her business was no exception: she could still be available to her children, Antonio and Danielle, during the process. She has also married her husband, Antonio, for 30 years.
