Numbers with Meaning: The Journey to Becoming the Concierge CPA

My story begins as a scared little girl raised in a home filled with financial and emotional instability. I craved to be fearless, so I moved out at age fifteen, graduated high school early, and began studying at a university to escape my tumultuous home life. I chose to major in business because I knew it would provide me with a secure future.

During my college years, one of my full-time jobs asked me to do some tax preparation. There, I discovered that I had a natural talent for solving complex problems, like navigating the tax code me someone's benefit. I loved being able to help people, and my hard work was making an immediate difference in the world via the taxpayer's financial health. However, I eventually worked myself out of a job and realized that I needed to push myself further.

Starting my CPA firm

So, I started my own CPA firm, determined to control my own destiny. I was extremely fortunate to find a loving spouse who took on all the home duties while I grew company after company. As with many entrepreneurs, my personal life soon collided with my business. My family grew, and I was struggling with postpartum depression while trying to balance work and motherhood. I was overwhelmed, and I knew I needed help.

Reaching my goals with advisory services inspired me to encourage others

That's when I sought out a business coach who helped me transform my firm into tax advisory services and tax planning. With his guidance, I retained a third of the clientele I had while tripling the firm's revenue, and my clients were happy to pay for the valuable advice I provided. This transformation impacted my entire life – financial, emotional, social, charitable, spiritual, and on. I achieved what I had always wanted for myself, my clients, my family, and my team – health, wealth, and better relationships. This experience inspired me to encourage others to follow their own dreams, make the changes they desire, and join in the revolution.
