The international and U.S.-based 2025 ProAdvisor Awards by Insightful Accountant officially opened on Wednesday, July 10, 2024. These awards recognize top QuickBooks ProAdvisors in the U.S. and global markets.

The awards celebrate the top QuickBooks ProAdvisors globally, focusing on professional development and community involvement.

This year, the awards process has been extended to a year-round activity, allowing more nominees to participate. Applicants can now complete their formal applications over seven months, giving them the flexibility to update their applications with any training, certifications, and other credentials as they earn them.

Qualifications for ProAdvisor Award Nominations

The voting period has been extended, providing greater opportunity for ProAdvisors to receive recognition. The application process will close on February 11, 2025, at 12:59:59 PM Pacific Standard Time—at which point, all applications will be frozen for scoring.

U.S. nominees

Nominees for the U.S. awards must:

  • Reside in the United States or its territories
  • Actively practice as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor
  • Support or provide services to one or more clients using QuickBooks, including QuickBooks Desktop, Online, or Ledger
  • Must hold at least one of the three Intuit (U.S.) ProAdvisor Certifications: QuickBooks Online (Core), QuickBooks Online (Advanced), or QuickBooks Desktop.

These certifications must be current, with an issue date no older than November 1, 2023. Recertification since such date also qualifies.

U.S. ProAdvisors can also be nominated by others or apply directly, with a similar flexible application process.

International nominees

Qualifications for the awards differ slightly between U.S. and international categories. For the latter, nominees must:

  • Reside outside the United States and actively practice as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor or QuickBooks Professional
  • Support or provide services to one or more clients using QuickBooks
  • Hold an Intuit ProAdvisor status or its equivalent for their country or Intuit Global Region, such as the QuickBooks Online (Global) Accountant Certification
  • International ProAdvisor applicants can also possess a certification from any country where Intuit
issues such a certification, including the United States; however, a U.S. certification does not
qualify a ProAdvisor living outside the U.S. to participate in the U.S. ProAdvisor Awards.

Individuals can nominate ProAdvisors or ProAdvisors can apply directly. The application process is designed to be flexible, allowing accommodations for updates and revisions throughout.

Nominations for both U.S. and international ProAdvisors are open until November 19, 2024. Individuals nominating their favorite ProAdvisor must provide contact information for themselves and the nominee, who will be notified of their nomination via email and given access to the formal application. ProAdvisors can also apply directly through the provided application links.
