I know... The last thing you need is more items on your to-do list. But at least ONE of these will be something you will want to do. I promise!

1. Nominate a Small Business Hero

If you haven't already, make sure you nominate a Small Business Hero.

Last month, Intuit announced that they will hold their first-ever National Small Business Hero Day on May 31, 2022, highlighting the value that local businesses provide to their communities. The culmination of the day will be the announcement of three small business winners selected by QuickBooks and Mailchimp to each receive a grant of $20,000.00.

The deadline for nominations is Friday, May 6 at 11:59 p.m. PT.

2. Vote for the Top 100 ProAdvisor Awards

Voting for Insightful Accountant's Top 100 ProAdvisor Awards is open - but only until Friday, May 6, at 11:59 p.m. PT.

The Top 100 ProAdvisor Awards have been recognizing your peers in the ProAdvisor community for years. To enter your vote, you will answer a few questions and then vote for up to three individuals.

5. Do something for yourself - unapologetically.

You are amazing. If small business is the backbone of our country, you are the nerve that runs through that backbone.

Take some time today to do what makes you happy or try something new and fun! Here are a few ideas.

  • Take a walk,
  • Find a swing in a peaceful area, close your eyes, and listen to life around you.
  • Turn your music up and dance!
  • Call a friend you haven't spoken with lately.
  • Take 30 minutes and watch ridiculously funny things on YouTube.

One last thing to do...
