Over the past two weeks, Intuit has announced two new integrations with QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Online Payroll and QuickBooks Desktop Payroll.

Canopy Integration with QuickBooks Online

Canopy, a provider of practice management software, has announced their integration with QuickBooks Online. With the integration, Canopy users will soon be able to

  • sync contacts, service items and invoices
  • process payments and deposits

Larry Furr, Chief Product Officer at Canopy, says, "No other competitor offers the ability to sync contacts, service items, invoices, payments, and deposits to QuickBooks Online. Additionally, our complete integration makes the bank reconciliation process the simplest on the market when working with QBO.”

Credit Karma MoneyIntegration with QuickBooks Online Payroll and QuickBooks Desktop

Following the $8.1 billion acquisition of Credit Karma, Intuit had already announced an integration of Credit Karma's Money Spend Account with TurboTax.

With the integration, small business employees paid through QuickBooks Online Payroll can select to have their paychecks automatically deposited into Credit Karma Money account through their employee portal, QuickBooks Workforce.

Ken Lin, Founder and CEO of Credit Karma, said, “This integration will enable us to reach small businesses and provide their employees, many of whom are living paycheck to paycheck, with a better overall checking and saving experience.”

The QuickBooks Online Payroll integration is available now. The QuickBooks Desktop Payroll integration will be available in coming months.
