This year, the conference features an impactful Instructor Writer Track with a lineup of expert presenters who will provide valuable insights and practical strategies to enhance your teaching and writing skills. Read on to learn more!

Marie Gibson

First up is Marie Gibson, an online accounting educator with a Ph.D. in Online Learning. Her session, "Tips and Tools for Building Online Classes-My Success Story!" is a must-attend workshop for anyone wondering how to take their brilliant ideas and turn them into successful online classes and programs. Marie will share real-life insights into creating, building, marketing, delivering, and leveraging online classes, as well as examine alternative purposes for building online courses. By the end of the workshop, participants will leave with the exact steps needed to create their first online class and turn it into a source of passive income for years to come!

Kate Johnson

Next, Kate Johnson, founder of Heritage Business Services LLC and Bookkeeping Side Hustle Community, will be presenting "Let's Hit Record: Why and How To Leverage Video In Your Business." In this session, Kate will emphasize the importance of video in the modern business landscape and equip even the most reluctant accounting professional to get started using the power of video in their practice. Participants will leave with a clear, written plan for creating videos, identifying the very first video they will make, what equipment or tools they need, and a longer-term plan for creating videos over the next quarter. Plus, courageous participants will write a short 30-second script to create a very short social media video to share with their clients and prospects!

Lorilyn Wilson

Lorilyn Wilson, owner of DueNorth PDX, will be presenting "Content Creation Strategies for Accountants," a session focused on helping accountants get their message out there and establish themselves as thought-leaders in the industry. Lorilyn will cover everything from setting up a content strategy to managing posting and tech to ease the process. Participants will learn about sales funnels and when to post, as well as how to easily create a content calendar to help build and maintain an audience.

Heather Satterley

Heather Satterley, Director of Partner Development at Woodard, will be presenting "Tech Tools to Power-up Your Writing." In this session, participants will learn about AI-driven tools and shortcuts to help them overcome even the worst writer's block. Heather will help attendees identify tools and apps to help write and edit content, develop a content calendar, and create an action plan to get started with their blog.

Gaynor Meilke

Finally, Gaynor Meilke, Certified Business Coach and Marketing Strategist for Accountants will present "The Social Media Marketing Blueprint for Accountants." Social media is one of the most effective ways to market accounting, tax, and advisory services, and in this session, Gaynor will help participants create a social media plan that actually generates profit for their firm with the latest tools and tactics that work. Attendees will learn an efficient process to create an effective social media plan and which platforms are most effective based on specific goals, as well as how to generate engaged followers who can be converted to true prospects using multi-channel marketing techniques.

Speaker Tips and Tricks from the Pros Panel

To top it all off, attendees can join icons Michelle Long, Dawn Brolin, and Twyla Velherst for an in-depth discussion on what it takes to get started and become a top speaker in the accounting space in the panel session, "Speaker Tips and Tricks from the Pros,” moderated by none other than Alison Ball, formerly from Intuit and now Director of Communications and Partnerships at Liscio.
