Insightful Accountant Launches the 2024 Top 100 ProAdvisor Awards

Insightful Accountant has opened its 2024 ProAdvisor Awards nomination and application process! This year, the awards will acknowledge the Top 100 ProAdvisors from the United States (and its territories), 25 Up-n-Coming ProAdvisors, and up to 50 International ProAdvisors globally. The awards will also recognize individuals in specific categories, including the ProAdvisor of the Year, International ProAdvisor of the Year, and Up-n-coming ProAdvisor of 2024.

About the Insightful Accountant ProAdvisor Awards 

The Insightful Accountant ProAdvisor Awards Program recognizes the best QuickBooks ProAdvisors worldwide. Applicants are ranked based on their performance across various categories, measuring everything from QuickBooks knowledge to the utilization of tools & partner apps within the QuickBooks ecosystem that contribute to solid practice growth. 

Award Qualifications and Process 

The awards have specific qualifications for different groups. For U.S.-based ProAdvisors, holding one or more current ProAdvisor (Online or Desktop) certifications issued by Intuit US is mandatory. International participants must have Intuit QuickBooks ProAdvisor status or an equivalent certification within their Intuit Region. Cross-certified participants, who have certifications in both their country and the U.S., can choose to participate in either the International or Domestic process, but they will be evaluated only based on the criteria of the chosen process. 

All nominees must actively practice as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor/Professional, serving actual clients using QuickBooks (Online or Desktop), to be eligible. Those providing services without direct client interactions are not considered for the awards. 

Changes in the Nomination Process for 2024 

The nomination process for 2024 has undergone significant changes. Notably, there is no waiting period between nomination and the start of the formal application process. ProAdvisors nominated by fellow ProAdvisors will be immediately notified of their nomination and provided a link to their formal application. Similarly, self-nominating ProAdvisors will be redirected to their formal application upon completion of their nomination. 

The formal application now includes automatic determinations of eligibility based on the minimum criteria for both domestic and international applicants. For the first time, applicants must upload their current QuickBooks certification to continue the process. The system restricts applicants to a single application form based on their email and IP address. 

Nomination and Application Timelines 

Self-nominations and 3rd Party Nominations opened on November 28, 2023. The self-nomination process will continue through February 20, 2024, while 3rd Party Nominations will close on December 31, 2023. All formal applications must be submitted by 23:59:59 Pacific Time on February 20, 2024, unless otherwise specified. 

Voting and Award Announcements 

Qualified ProAdvisors will be notified about the voting phase of the selection process by February 28, 2024. Voting is tentatively scheduled to end before April 1, 2024, with the publication of the awards expected in mid to late April 2024. Winners will be honored at the Scaling New Heights conference at the Marriott World Center in Orlando, Florida on June 16 - 19, 2024.
