Read news about Intuit news (including a new technology partner), an announcement from Botkeeper, and more news about the companies leaving - and refusing to leave - Russia.

Intuit has selected a new professional services technology partner to support QuickBooks Time. The collaboration between Intuit and Dapt Tech provides simplified and accurate job costing capabilities and seamless data flow for clients in industries such as construction, professional services, healthcare, solar installation, field service and technology. Jim Keeney, President of Dapt Tech, says, "Our mission at Dapt is to help clients with complex pay rates, such as completed installs, complex overtime rules, on-call rates, shift differentials, multiple roles, or multijurisdictional taxation."

This week Intuit announced their support of the people of Ukraine. In the company's blog, Intuit pledged $1 million to the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) to help support the people of Ukraine as well as a 2:1 match for employee donations supporting relief efforts through Intuit’s We Care & Give Back program.

Although the company has no material business in Russia and Ukraine from a revenue or supply chain perspective, Intuit announced the suspension of all customer accounts in Russia and the waiving of all charges for current customers in Ukraine until further notice.

Finally, although Intuit doesn't have offices in Ukraine and bordering countries that are being affected, they are making their Employee Assistance Program and additional resources available to employees with friends and family in the region.

QuickBooks Checking customers can now connect their QuickBooks debit cards to both Apple Pay and Google Pay.
