Avalara has entered an agreement to be acquired by Vista Equity Partners (“Vista”), a leading global investment firm focused exclusively on enterprise software, data, and technology-enabled businesses. Avalara was founded in 2004, became public in 2018, and has continued its growth as more businesses are relying on software to automate their tax needs. The $8.4 billion deal is expected to close later this year.

AvidXchange has a new offering, this one for the construction industry. “Construction professionals often use outdated and disconnected products in an attempt to manage their AP processes and as a result, they are stuck in their offices, reliant on their filing cabinets, buried in manual work, and constantly chasing and shuffling paper around,” said AvidXchange Vice President of Construction Jim Campbell. 

The new solution, AvidSuite for Construction, is an end-to-end purchase-to-pay solution that eliminates manual processing. AvidSuite for Construction integrates dozens of accounting systems, including QuickBooks and Sage. You can learn more and arrange for a demo here. 

Gusto and Reach Reporting have announced a partnership.
