Giles is passionate about helping public accounting firms have more success, and less stress, when hiring accountants. Giles was a tax and business advisory partner with a provincial office of PwC in New Zealand for 18 years until 2016, when he left to form Accountests. After proving the concept in New Zealand and Australia Accountests is now helping American accounting firms avoid bad hires with the use of skills and personality testing - all specifically designed by accountants for hiring in public accounting firms. When not working on Accountests Giles loves hiking and bikepacking - including walking and also biking the length of New Zealand, and hiking a significant portion of the Pacific Crest Trial in America - an unfinished project!
