Woodard®️ Top 50 Client Accounting Services Award Firm Spotlight: KEM Business Solutions, Inc.

That’s why we started the Woodard®️ Top 50 Client Accounting Services Practice Awards to honor firms representing hardworking businesses whose teams have demonstrated world-class care and performance.

Today we want to spotlight KEM Business Solutions, an Orlando-based firm that truly strives to be more than just accountants and bookkeepers for its clients—the team provides true partnerships, offering whatever they can to raise the bar for themselves and the organizations they support.

Prioritizing success for small business owners and beyond

The company provides a wealth of training and information resources to help its clients run their businesses. In addition to accounting and bookkeeping services, it offers QuickBooks training services, strategic advisory, a regularly updated blog, and a resource center on its website.

KEM even strives to give back to its community, supporting local charitable organizations like The Sharing Center, the Orlando Center for Justice, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and the Wayne Densch Children’s Advocacy Center.

Since KEM Business Solutions was founded in 2013 by Elizabeth Ortiz & Karen Wisdo, its team has grown to six dedicated employees. Although Wisdo retired in 2021, Ortiz has continued as the sole owner. 

Ortiz reflected on winning the award two years in a row, saying that it “is truly a testament to the hard work and dedication the team puts in—not just in completing the books and advising clients, but in the behind-the-scenes work of sourcing the right software, right bank, right payroll.”
