Scaling New Heights 2026 Highlights Socials and Special Events

Written by The Woodard Report Team | Apr 17, 2026 5:13:12 PM

Scaling New Heights 2026 is bringing accounting professionals to Orlando from June 14 through 17 for education, technology, and connection. In addition to the conference agenda, this year’s event will feature a lineup of social and special events designed to help attendees build relationships and engage with the broader community.

From a charity event and new attendee orientation to member gatherings and a conference-wide social, the week’s lineup offers attendees several opportunities to connect outside formal sessions and engage more fully in the conference experience.

Build-A-Bike® Charity Event

The week’s social lineup begins on Saturday, June 13, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. with the Build-A-Bike® Charity Event at the Orlando World Center Marriott. Open to all conference attendees, the event brings participants together in teams of four to six for instructor-led challenges that lead to assembling bicycles. A minimum $50 contribution is required to participate in the build, and a donation-only option will also be available.

All donations and assembled bicycles will benefit The M Family Foundation, a Florida nonprofit that supports families battling ovarian cancer and DIPG/DMG. It is a meaningful way to begin the week, bringing people together around a shared purpose while giving attendees an opportunity to meet and collaborate before the conference officially gets underway.

New Attendee Orientation

For those attending Scaling New Heights for the first time, the New Attendee Orientation on Sunday, June 14, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. is a helpful way to start the week. Open to new attendees who are practicing accounting professionals, the session is designed to help participants get familiar with the conference, from sessions and resources to networking opportunities.

One of the most valuable parts of the orientation is the Table Talk component, where new attendees are paired with a Scaling New Heights “Scholar,” or a conference veteran with five or more years of experience attending. That gives first-time attendees a chance to ask questions, get practical advice, and begin the week with more confidence and clarity.

Annual Practice Advancement Breakfast

Immediately following orientation, the Annual Practice Advancement Breakfast will take place on Sunday, June 14, from 10:00 to 11:15 a.m. Open to conference registrants who are practicing accounting professionals, the breakfast combines networking with a special presentation from Joe Woodard.

This session will cover bonus topics not included in Joe’s keynote presentations, including his perspective on the future of accounting and bookkeeping and ideas that have shaped him and the Woodard organization over the past year. It’s a strong way to begin the conference week, offering both thoughtful conversation and a broader view of where the profession is heading.

Conference Wide Social

One of the biggest social events of the week will be the Conference Wide Social on Tuesday, June 16, from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. at Main Event Orlando. Open to conference registrants who are practicing accounting professionals, this off-site event includes transportation, dinner, and activities, with registration priced at $25 thanks to sponsorship support from BILL.*

Main Event gives attendees plenty of ways to unwind and connect, from bowling and arcade games to interactive attractions and casual conversation. It’s a chance to step away from the conference setting for a few hours, spend time with peers, and continue the conversations that often begin in the sessions and in the hallways.

* Eligible attendees include registrants who support multiple clients within one or more areas of accountancy (e.g., bookkeeping, CAS, Tax, Audit), and do so as their primary business model.

Woodard member gatherings

Woodard Members will also have dedicated opportunities to connect during the week. On Sunday, June 14, from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m., active Woodard Members are invited to the Woodard Member Social at the Orlando World Center Marriott. The evening will include karaoke, light bites, and a book signing with keynote speaker Daniel Susskind, author of A World Without Work.

Then on Monday, June 15, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., Premium Level Members are invited to the Premium Level Member Social, which will include drinks, light bites, and networking with the Woodard Coaching Team. While each event has its own feel, both are designed to create space for conversation, connection, and community among members.

Woodard membership provides a proven framework for you and your team to build capacity, price to value, standardize processes, and offers six areas of advisory support so you and your clients can generate wealth.

The value of connection

Education is at the heart of Scaling New Heights, but the social and special events are an important part of what makes the week memorable. They create opportunities for attendees to connect through shared experiences, informal conversations, and moments that happen outside sessions and keynote rooms.

That matters because conferences are not only about learning new ideas. They are also about building relationships. For many attendees, those connections become one of the most valuable parts of the experience and one of the things they remember long after the week is over.
