Small business is the backbone of our country. The media often covers stories about mega-corporations in the news, whether they are doing something truly worthwhile or something that might seem a bit crazy. But now it is time to hear about small businesses.
Intuit made an exciting announcement today about the second annual Small Business Success Month to be held in May. And the news could involve one of your small business clients.
National Small Business Hero Day
Intuit has announced the first-ever National Small Business Hero Day to be held on May 31, 2022. To highlight the value that local businesses provide to their communities, the day will culminate in the announcement of three small business winners selected by QuickBooks and Mailchimp to receive a grant of $20,000.00 for each small business owner.
Do you have a client who is a small business hero? If so, nominations* are being accepted from now until Friday, May 6 at 11:59 p.m. PT.
To nominate a small business, simply go to the Small Business Hero Day website and complete a simple form. You will need to provide basic contact information about the small business and then explain in 300 words or less why that small business is your hero.
