Real examples. Real savings. Real progress.

We’re back with another round of “how we actually used AI this month” from our Info Plus Consulting team. These aren’t just hypothetical use caseseach one comes straight from our day-to-day work. Our goal? To give you quick, relatable ways to try it in your own world (and maybe make you smile along the way).

Create a Prompt and Related Support Materials

Type: Produce a Book-Related Prompt, Accompanying “Cheat Sheet” and Presenter-Coaching Insights. (From: CEO [article author])

Example: I first outlined the structure and timing for ChatGPT regarding an upcoming “Moneyball” workshop, one of our “AI Book to Biz” events. Then, I asked it to:

  • Create a prompt that would provide a summary of the book’s chapters and,
  • Based on information provided by each person,
  • Select an appropriate portion of the book to apply to their specific circumstance.
  • Provide questions designed to help each person apply the concepts from the relevant section of the book to their real-life work.

Result & Reflection: ChatGPT built a prompt including “markup” (markup creates headers and numbering in the results). It also offered to process two sample responses (including 3-5 insightful reflection questions) so I could check the results.

After reviewing the samples, I asked for two minor revisions. It confirmed my requested changes and immediately created a modified prompt.

As part of the chat process, it also provided helpful tips regarding:

  • Key points to cover in my intro
  • Ideas for participants to discuss during their breakout rooms and
  • Questions to pose for the full-group debrief.

I was extremely pleased with the prompt’s quality and test results and also pleasantly surprised when it offered the following: “Would you like me to generate a Moneyball chapter handout or cheat sheet as a downloadable PDF next? That could be a handy reference to offer during or after your workshop.” I said, “Yes, please.”

ChatGPT created a nicely formatted “Cheat Sheet” handout, and class participants will likely welcome that takeaway to accompany the class slides and the prompt.

Estimated Time Savings: 3.25 to 5.25 hours. (ChatGPT prompt design + workshop-ready configuration = 3.0 to 5.0 hours + Moneyball AI Cheat Sheet 10-15 minutes).

Weekly LinkedIn Plan = Done and Buffed

Type: Build a repeatable LinkedIn engagement plan that doesn’t pull our VA into a total time-pit. (From: Virtual Assistant)

Example: Our Virtual Assistant teamed up with ChatGPT to create a weekly LinkedIn series that balances original posts and daily interactions. Think: themed content (like workshop takeaways and service tips), time slots that make sense, and a few extra boosts – like reminders to tag others and reply to comments.

Result & Reflection: Before this, she found she could regularly get stuck in “What should I post today?” wonderland. Now? It’s mapped out like a GPS route. She’s already noticed more connection requests and replies. Bonus: She even schedules posts in advance and shines as the organized person she truly is!

Estimated Time Savings: She estimates savings of 6–8 hours of planning + a whole lot of second-guessing.

Taming the Robocalls Phone Beast

Type: Robocalls and hangups that create interruptions and frustration for our team members. (From: COO)

Example: Our digital phone system was starting to feel like a choose-your-own-adventure book gone wrong. Our COO asked ChatGPT to help unravel the web of “dial plans,” voicemail settings, and call flows. It explained the logic, then built a sample diagram to show how everything connects.

Result & Reflection: She tweaked the diagram with Snagit, ran tests, and built a new call flow that has nearly eliminated those robocalls. This has been a HUGE help for all of us. Although she spent additional time customizing it, the visual map ChatGPT initially created made it much easier to wrap her thought process around the system.

And hey, now we don’t have to cringe every time the phone rings. That’s progress!

Estimated Time Savings: 4 hours (1 time).

Equipment Decision? Chart It Out

Type: Compare three equipment options – quickly and clearly (From: Level 2 ProAdvisor)

Example: Our ProAdvisor asked ChatGPT to lay out three equipment types' pros, cons, and energy usage. Then she added a follow-up: What about the average cost to operate? No problem – ChatGPT created a clean, exportable table for Excel, ready for deeper analysis.

Result & Reflection: Instead of falling into a research rabbit hole, she had what she needed in under 15 minutes. and gave her peace of mind that she was making a smart, data-backed decision.

Estimated Time Savings: It saved at least 30–45 minutes.

Picture This: A.I. Makes Visuals Shine

Type: Create strong, relatable visuals for a local Home Builders presentation. (From: CEO [article author])

Example: I asked ChatGPT to generate a photo-realistic image of a construction worker with an AI “overlay” - and it nailed it. Then I tweaked the scene: first, I swapped a commercial background to show an in-process residential scene. Nice! Then, because the first two images showed only a man in a hard hat, I asked it to add a woman construction worker. Each time, ChatGPT adjusted like a digital artist on call.

Then, when it struggled with creating two (male & female) photo-realistic hands holding a “Safety & Policy” shield, it suggested using a stylized graphic instead. That turned out even better (and yes, the spelling was perfect).

Result & Reflection:

This is what they mean when they say AI is improving fast. I went from ideas to presentation-worthy images in minutes, without needing Photoshop skills. (7 of my 12 final slides used AI-generated pictures.) If that’s not a productivity win, I don’t know what is!

Estimated Time Savings: Although I could have searched stock photos for similar pictures, it would likely have taken me 30-45 minutes to find what I wanted (if I could have). This way, I saved time AND got precisely what I was looking for.

Wrapping It Up…

So there you have it – five fresh ways we used AI to make our workweek smarter, faster, and honestly, a bit more fun. Whether it’s mapping out content, solving phone flow frustrations, or building visuals and prompts that really connect, we’re finding new wins each week. If these stories spark even one new idea for your own workflow, then mission accomplished!

Until next time, keep experimenting, keep learning, and remember—you don’t need to be a tech wizard to get real results from AI. Just a curious mind and a little courage to ask, “Hey ChatGPT, can you help me with this?”
